A huge thank you to Vanita Parti MBE (Class of 1987), founder and CEO of Blink Brow Bar, who came back to NHEHS on November 24th to talk to the Sixth Form as part of our Careers Spotlight series.

Vanita inspired the girls by sharing how she made the leap from the airline industry to the world of brows and beauty! Having spotted a gap in the market, which stemmed from a personal need for a service which didn’t exist, Vanita explained how she created a business plan which she then sent to all the London department stores. Undeterred by their lack of response, she persevered and the rest is history!

Vanita left the girls with invaluable advice for their future- be brave, don’t follow the crowd and persevere!
