"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. These collaborations are mutually enriching and enable our students to create connections beyond the school gates."

Athletics Regional & County Successes!

Regional Track and Field Cup 2022

Our athletics team continued a great run of form following their third place overall at the GDST Athletics Rally, with two more excellent days of track and field.

On June 17th, undoubtedly the hottest day of the year so far, our Intermediate ( Year 9-10) and Junior (Year 7-8) teams travelled to Lee Valley Athletics Track for the Regional Finals of the Track and Field Cup.

The Intermediate team finished in 3rd place overall, 407 points- not quite enough points to qualify for nationals, but a fantastic effort to finish in a medal position in the whole of the region.

Performances to note:

Zoe J- 100m- 13.00 seconds

Natasha B – 800m- 2 mins 28 seconds

Nicola H- 1500m – 5 mins 24 seconds

Morven P- High Jump- 1.41m

Ella M- High Jump- 1.47m

Georgia C- Javelin- 26.96m

The Junior team finished in 8th place overall with 313 points scored. Due to the heat one student had to drop out of the 800m- so the team performed well in difficult conditions. Performances to note:

Adeife A- 100m- 13.60 seconds

Minna W- 1500m- 5 mins 46 seconds

Kitty G – Javelin- 19.17m
