"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. These collaborations are mutually enriching and enable our students to create connections beyond the school gates."

Biggest Ever NHEHS Ealing Half Marathon Team Runs for The Log Cabin

Our staff-parent team have been busy putting in the miles on the streets this summer in preparation for the Ealing Half Marathon! They will be running for the amazing local charity The Log Cabin in Northfields who help children with disabilities and additional needs. The Log Cabin is an invaluable local provision where children and young people with additional needs or disabilities can socialise, grow and have fun alongside their mainstream peers.

The team includes a record number of runners, with 8 members of staff and over 30 parents! This is the third time we have entered a team (2019 team pictured to the left).

For our staff team we have – Dr Stark, Miss Weir, Mrs Johnson, Miss Newman, Miss Munro-Hall, Mrs Moore, Mrs Eastwood, Mrs Bennett and of course, Mr Shoults.

We’ll be sharing their thoughts on their training, The Log Cabin and the race itself on our social media this week, so watch those spaces!

You can support our runners and The Log Cabin by donating via our JustGiving Page and as the route runs right past the Senior School we hope that many of you will be there to join us on 26th September in cheering our team on.
