"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. These collaborations are mutually enriching and enable our students to create connections beyond the school gates."

Double Success for Year 5’s Lana!

We are thrilled that Lana G (5T) has been chosen by author and illustrator of the Tom Gates series Liz Pichon as one of her favourite covers in the Scholastic Tom Gates Cover Competition!

The prize includes Lana’s artwork printed in TOM GATES: TEN TREMENDOUS TALES (publishing February 2021) and in the Tom Gates backlist titles from the series. Lana has also won a signed book, signed print, limited edition badge and a bag of goodies.

On the sporting front, we also learned that after a successful trial process, Lana has been selected into the Middlesex County Cricket U11 Age Group Squad.

As a member of Ealing Cricket Club, Lana has represented her club at both the U10s (softball) and U12s (hardball). This is an excellent achievement for Lana who is playing a year up with most of the Middlesex U11 squad in Years 6 & 7. Lana only started playing hardball cricket in the summer 2020 having been a Girls Colt for two seasons prior.

Lana now has the amazing opportunity of being on the elite level pathway to becoming a professional sports athlete in cricket and in football (with Oxford Utd Women’s FC).

Well done Lana!
