We are thrilled to announce that Eva Keen (NHEHS 2018) has been shortlisted as a finalist for this year’s GDST Trailblazer of the Year Award which recognises young alumnae who are achieving outstanding early acclaim in their career.

At the age of just 23, Eva is a commercial airline pilot with easyJet. With a mere 5% of all pilots and just 1.42% of captains being female, this is an incredible achievement in itself. When you add the global pandemic, and the impact this has had on the aviation industry, it’s truly stand-out.

It’s an amazing achievement to reach the shortlist of just three nominees from a very competitive list of outstanding entrants. The icing on the cake would be for Eva to win!
