Friendship Day at Junior School
The 15th of June was ‘Friendship Day’ at Junior School. This was a wonderful initiative launched between the Junior school and the Year 10 Charity Reps.
Firstly, it was the Junior school’s turn to bring in their preloved books for their book collection for the Children’s Book Project. Each student brought in two books each and we completely filled four trestle tables! Every single one of the books will be gifted to another child across London as The Children’s Book Project aims to tackle book poverty and to give every child the opportunity to own their own book.
‘Friendship Day’ was celebrated at Junior School through a number of activities, including the girls making friendship bracelets and writing letters to a ‘secret friend’ in their year group . They were also extra kind to that person on the day and beyond.
