"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. U12A Team Win GDST Regional Netball Rally!

By Alice W-B and Cecily H, Year 7

On the 31st of January the U12A team arrived at school for a 7:30am departure, where we travelled to Oxford with the junior school’s Year 6 water polo and cricket teams to take part in the GDST Regional Sport Rally.

We were all very tired as we had to get to school so early, but when we arrived everyone was very nervous and excited to play. We played eight matches in the first round where we won all of them except one against Wimbledon, which was very close. Then after lunch we moved onto the cup round of the competition, facing Bath, Wimbledon, Portsmouth and Oxford. All the teams were very good and they were competitive matches, but we managed to beat all four schools, and we ended up winning the whole tournament!
