Green STEM Sustainability Programme Goes from Strength to Strength
By Mr Fernando, Assistant Head (Co-Curricular and Partnerships)
The second GreenSTEM session unfolded in our Sixth Form Center on Monday, skilfully guided by Ariane and Ugo, both PhD candidates from Imperial. They steered students through the intricacies of crafting an academic paper, emphasising the importance of originality and effective research.
The outcome of the evening was not only a successful academic exploration but also a boost in the students’ confidence levels. As the session concluded, an unmistakable sense of energy permeated the room, leaving participants invigorated.
Beyond the academic gains, the event served as a catalyst for the formation of new friendships among students from the seven participating schools, Dormers Wells High School, Greenford High School, Ellen Wilkinson School, Queen Elizabeth’s School, Drayton Manor High School and Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School.
