NHEHS Weekly Sports Update January 31st – February 6th 2020

Cricket 

On February 4th, the U15 cricket team took part in the U15 Lady Taverner’s Indoor Middlesex Cricket. In a tough competition, the A team cricketers lost against Godolphin & Latymer School and St Paul’s, but won against Queens College while the U15B team lost matches to Putney High, Godolphin & Latymer School, Francis Holland and St Paul’s.

Badminton

Teams from U12-U18 took on St Augustine’s Priory at badminton in a home fixture on February 4th, with NHEHS just losing out by 90-93 overall.

Hockey

Francis Holland Regents Park were our opponents on February 6th as our U12A team won 5-2 and our Bs drew 0-0. 

Netball

Our U15A team’s cup run finally came to an end with a narrow defeat to Reigate Grammar as they went down 35-37 at home in the fifth round of the SistersnSport National Cup Plate, just losing out on playing in the national finals.

Kew House provided our opponents for our U15A and U14A fixture on February 4th, with NHEHS taking both wins – 36-10 (MVP Jasmine) and 16-14 (MVP Zara) respectively.

Our U12 teams took on our U13 teams on February 4th at Trailfinders, with our U12s getting the upper hand. The U12As defeated the U13B (16-2 – MVP Caterina), the U12Bs won 18-4 vs U13C (MVP Georgia) and the U12Cs drew 8 all with the U13D team (MVP Zoe).

 

Trampoline

On 4th February our trampolinists from U12 up to U16 enjoyed a fun session practising routines with girls from St Augustine’s Priory.
