NHEHS Weekly Sports Update June 11th 2021

Following a break for exams and half term, we were back on the sport fixtures trail last week with matches against local schools.

Tennis

Our U13 tennis team took on St Benedict’s and won 31-4 while our U14 team took the win 10-5.

Cricket

Godolphin & Latymer were the opponents for our U12 cricketers last week. Our A team lost 235-186 (POM Minna W), our B team lost 235-202 (POM Nico M) and our C team by 248 to 256 (POM Roxy Q).

Rounders

Godolphin & Latymer also provided the opposition for a rounders fixture. Our U14 A and U13 teams won 11.5 to 9.5 and 14.5 to 6.5 respectively. Our U13 B lost 8-18.5, our Cs 8-14 and our Ds 3-19.5.

Netball

Well done to the following Year 10s who were selected to attend trials for GDST Netball Select- Gen P, Sephera F and Bea G. We find out if any of the three have made the final overall GDST team next week! Also great to see our very own Miss Dunkley putting the netballers through their paces too! 

Athletics

Some great athletics results: Natasha B (Year 8) 2 min 25 in 800m, Eadi S-J (Year 9) 2 min 35 in 800m, Minna W (Year 7) 4 min 20 in 1200m

Golf

Miss Munro-Hall & Miss Newman represented NHEHS at Ealing Golf Club on International Women’s Golf Day event on June 1st. They did an 8 hole scramble & coaching and even came away from the event being team champions. Congratulations!!
