Parents & Alumnae Offer Invaluable Multi Mini Practice Interviews (MMI) for Aspiring Medics
On November 20th we held our annual Multi Mini Interview (MMI) practice interviews for Sixth Form students who are hoping to study medicine or dentistry. Many medical and dental schools run a series of 6-12 five-minute-long mini interviews as part of their candidate selection process.
We were delighted to have 7 interviewers come in to run the session held at the Sixth Form centre – John Keen (parent of alumnae), Maaria Malik (alumna), Hafsa Malik (alumna), David Lefroy (parent of alumnae), Shankar Sridharan (parent), and Eimi Howse (alumna), Elizabeth Davison (parent and alumna). The interviews were each five minutes long, plus two minutes of verbal feedback.
Our Year 13 Medicine applicants took part together with students from Cardinal Wiseman, Greenford High and Twyford CofE Schools. The interviews are 5 minutes long, + 2 minutes of verbal feedback.
The students benefited greatly from the experience and the feedback from the interviewers. It was also a great opportunity for them to network. Thank you to all our wonderful interviewers for offering their services for this valuable practice.
