Penultimate Green STEM Session for 2024
The third and penultimate Green STEM session took place in our Sixth Form Centre last week. This week students were finalising their essays and presentations, guided by Doctoral research scientists from Imperial, Ariane and Ugo.
Green STEM is our STEM sustainability project which gives Year 12 students from NHEHS and six local partner schools the chance to tackle a higher level research project. Students work to develop solutions in collaborative groups to the climate and energy crisis over four meetings.
Participating schools this year are Dormers Wells High School, Greenford High School, Ellen Wilkinson High School, Drayton Manor High School, Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School and Queen Elizabeth’s School, Barnet.
Final presentations will take place at the National History Museum on 28th March.
