Sports Update – 15th October 2022

Good news from sport from before half term! 

 

Team of the week this week:

Our U15A Netball Team for their performance at Middlesex Schools Tournament (see below).

Netball

Our U15 and U14 A teams took part in the Middlesex Preliminary Tournament. Both teams took the top places and were unbeaten throughout. Both teams will now progress to the Middlesex Finals in March 2022.

U15A Results:

– v St Benedicts Won- 17-0

– v North London Collegiate School Won 8-3

– v St Helen’s Won 15-1

– v Kew House Won 12-4

– v Twyford C of E Won 12- 1

– v Lady Eleanor Holles Won 12-8

– v Grey Court School Won 18-3

 

U14A Results:

– v St Benedict’s Won 11-9

– v St Catherine’s Won 19-2

– v North London Collegiate School Won 8-1

– v Twyford C of E Won 11-0

– v St Augustine’s Won 11-2

– v Lady Eleanor Holles Won 7-4

– v Grey Court School Won 16-1

Our U16A team took the win vs St Paul’s Girls School on October 11th, playing various mixed quarters and players to enable players from both the A & B teams from both schools to get game time.

The U15A went out of the SistersnSport National Cup with a 26-45 loss to Putney High School (MVP Adeline M-S). The U13B team played away to Twyford CofE on 11th October and won 13-7 (MVP Claire I) with the C team also winning 16-3 (MVP Guusje V). Our U12A team played out an exciting game home to Wycombe Abbey which finished at 20-20 at full time with the next “golden” goal winning, which Wycombe managed to score.

Hockey

U12A lost 2-6 (MVP Romilly C) to St Bens and U12B won 4-0 away on October 14th. 

Tennis

Year 7 Abby won the 2021 Ealing Lawn Tennis Club 12U Girls’ Champion AND 2021 Middlesex Team Champion with the Ealing LTC 11U Girls Team on October 9th. Well done to Abby and her team mates!
