U11 Netballers Take Third Place at North London Collegiate Tournament

By Mrs Vao, Head of Junior PE

Last weekend our NHEHS U11 Netball Team were excited at taking part in their first Year 6 tournament.

There were nineteen teams in total taking part in the annual North London Collegiate tournament, each playing five eight-minute games in their preliminary groups before teams were regrouped for the final round of matches.

NHEHS played confidently in the group matches, comfortably winning four games and narrowly losing one, 3-1. This put the NHEHS team into the Championship Group for the final round of matches against St Albans A and B, Newland House, Sarum Hall, and Godstowe. The competition was a lot stronger in these final matches, but our NHEHS Team worked hard with some nail-biting netball to finish third overall. This was a great finish to a fantastic morning of netball.

Well done to our Year 6 netballers & huge thanks to North London Collegiate for hosting!
