Women in STEM Panel & Networking Event

On January 23rd, our alumnae team is holding a panel and networking event on Women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) at the school from 6.30pm to 9pm.  This event is open to all alumnae and our girls in Years 11 to 13, as well as from other GDST schools.

Representing a broad variety of STEM careers, we are delighted to be welcoming a panel of fascinating, and very experienced, NHEHS Alumnae, including:

Vanessa Viney (NHEHS 1992) – UK and US Innovation Manager at Airbus Defence and Space

Charu Desodt (NHEHS 1994) – Computer Programmer and Video Game Production Director for independent game studio INTERIOR/NIGHT

Divya Shah (NHEHS 1998) – Research Lead in Sites and Systems at Wellcome

Jessica Booth (NHEHS 2000) – Director of Data Analytics in KPMG’s Digital Lighthouse team (Data Analytics, Infrastructure, Government and Healthcare)

Sophia Djili (NHEHS 2008) – Senior Project Engineer at De La Rue

The panel will share their career stories, successes and setbacks as well as lessons they’ve learnt. The discussion will be followed by a Q&A session and a drinks reception where there will be an opportunity to network with other alumnae who work, or have interest, in these sectors and to share expertise.
