"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. Year 5 Lana Signs for Oxford United Regional Talent Club

Big congratulations to Lana (5T) who has been signed to Oxford United F.C. Under 10’s Regional Talent Club (RTC) team for the forthcoming 2020/21 season.

After a successful 2019/20 season at Watford Ladies FC – winning the Hertfordshire FA Youth Futsal Cup 2019/20 – and as a participant of the Arsenal Women’s FC Player Development Programme, Lana received multiple offers from professional football clubs for the 2020/21 season.

Oxford United F.C. is one of only 30 FA licensed Regional Talent Clubs (RTC) in operation across England designed to develop the best elite young female footballers in the country.

The FA Girl’s Talent Pathway aims to deliver enhanced, highly qualified coaching and support in the development and progression of the best young female talent with the potential and aspiration to progress to international representation.

This is an impressive achievement for Lana, who – with a lot of hard work and dedication – has reached RTC level after only two seasons of club football.

Congratulations Lana!
