On Tuesday, we performed in our first ever NHEHS music concert. A group of fourteen of us took part in the New Girls’ Concert, sharing our musical talents and abilities in front of an audience. Before the concert, we felt quite nervous but we felt a huge sense of pride and achievement afterwards. Friends, family and teachers from all years were watching our performances, from the Recital Hall and from a live stream on YouTube.

We would definitely do it again, since it was a great experience and we loved how all our friends were cheering us on after we finished, which made it a very positive experience. We would encourage anyone to get involved in the next concert, as it was so much fun and we learnt a lot from it!
