From the 21-24th of June 2023, Year 8 students had the opportunity to go on language trips for German, Spanish and French. I chose to go on the German trip to Vienna.

The trip consisted of 17 students and 3 teachers on a 3 day long trip to Vienna. On the trip we got to experience lots of activities alongside practising our German speaking skills. The activities we did included: An audio guided tour of Schönbrunn palace, an Apple strudel workshop, a few hours at the amazing amusement park Prater, a visit to the Belvedere Museum to see famous artworks, a stroll around the Hundertwasserhaus and time to sit in the parks to enjoy the view of Vienna!

My favourite was the trip to Prater as we got lots of freedom and time to enjoy the rides on the very hot day! Overall, it was a really fun and exciting trip where we got to hang out with friends whilst we were learning new words and practising our German skills!
