The culmination of Year 9 curriculum music was an Oscars celebration held this week, judged by Head of Year, Miss Cagnino. The brief for the term was to create an original film with an original soundtrack and prizes were awarded for cinematography, soundtrack, peoples choice (voted for by the Year 9 students) and best overall film.

There were some interesting submissions using a variety of mediums, from adverts to horror movies and animations. Students used Logic Pro, BandLab and Ableton to produce the soundtracks and iMovie, Flipaclip and other programs for the film production.

Best Music and overall Best Film: ‘Blendforce 3000’ Maanvi, Eve, Roma, Dunya, Gwen
