Two weeks after the 150th Anniversary concert at Cadogan Hall, we came together once again to hear the culmination of a term’s work from the other ensembles rehearsing through the school. We were treated to a rendition of ‘Let it go’ by the Session Orchestra, the Bassoon ensemble performed ‘Rondo Alla Turka’ and the newly formed Advanced Jazz band performed two items, . This last ensemble also performed at the PTA ball at the weekend. The Percussion Ensemble impressed once again with ‘Korobeiniki’, a folksong arranged for a vast arrange of percussion. New this year, the Percussion Ensemble is growing termly under the efforts of Mr Gale.
