First Assemblies Encourage Students To Be Brave
Assemblies in the Senior School have started with a bang!
Mr. Shoults spoke about climbing (and abseiling down) mountains with his wife, and what this has taught him about working outside of his comfort zone. Mr. Henderson reminded us of the power of mind (or rather, mindset) over matter.
Mrs. Irwin spoke about the richness of exciting juxtapositions: academic and co-curricular, Fitzgerald and Monroe, crème brulée and donuts.
Ms Copin, following on from an assembly last year about images of women (which you can watch here), suggested strategies for dealing with difficult situations (you can watch this here). A varied, thought-provoking, and entertaining start to Monday and Thursday mornings, with many more interesting topics coming up!
