"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. These collaborations are mutually enriching and enable our students to create connections beyond the school gates."

Launch of the First NHEHS Bursaries & Partnerships Impact Report

We are excited to announce the publication of our very first Impact Report, detailing the progress of our 150th Anniversary Bursary Appeal and sharing information about our School Partnerships.

Headlines from the Report:

  • Our Leavers’ 150th Appeal has reached its full target and one new student will join our sixth form in September 2024 on a transformational bursary

  • Our Alumnae, Former Parents and Staff are now 66% of the way towards creating their new 150th Anniversary Senior School transformational bursary

  • Our Parents are now 70% of the way towards creating their new 150th Anniversary Senior School transformational bursary

  • We have linked with over 22 local maintained schools with over 800 of their students benefitting from our Partnership Programme

Please see the foot of this page to read the report in full.

Thank you to those of you whose generosity is clearly evidenced in this report; the figures are a testament to the commitment that many of you have made to give more young women the experience of an aspirational yet grounded NHEHS education.

If you have not already contributed or have and now would like to extend your support, please follow the links below and help give a student like Noor an educational opportunity she could have otherwise not have dreamt of.

‘Before I came to NHEHS my teachers were great but purely focused on getting us to pass our exams, to reach a certain level. Here, the teachers give you so much support; they really care. You are encouraged to go as far as you want to.  Being at NHEHS has made me realise that there isn’t a limit on what I can achieve.’

Noor Ahmed, Class of 2022, former transformational bursary student
