Meet our Games Captain & Sports Reps!

Our Games Captain Ellie and Sports Reps Isla and Keerit are very excited for the start of term and all the sports activities we have lined up! Our Sports Department have been introducing them to everyone over on their Instagram.

Introducing our NHEHS Games Captain for 2022-2023 – Ellie M

1. Main sport(s) you currently play – although currently recovering from an ACL injury, I usually play hockey, trampolining and gymnastics & I’ve been coaching these sports while recovering.

2. A level subjects you are taking at NHEHS – Biology, Geography and DT.

3. Something you are looking forward to doing through your role this year – Bringing the joy of sport to every student whether it’s through recreational clubs or competition.

4. A tip for NHEHS students in PE/Sport – Play sport like no one’s watching.

5. Favourite motivational quote – “I’d rather regret the risks that didn’t work out then the chances I didn’t take at all” – Simone Biles.

4. A tip for NHEHS students in PE/Sport – Don’t be scared to try something you haven’t done before because it’s all about the friends you make and the skills you learn through the process
