Many girls were due to take music instrumental exams this month, however, due to the lockdown, these were cancelled and exams were suspended until further notice. As an alternative, the Music Department are pleased to be offering these students a school-based exam, which will be a great way of allowing the girls to demonstrate their work, be given feedback on the content they had worked so hard on, and also gain a sense of completion for that grade. 

Although these exams will take place online, the students are also having the opportunity to play alongside an accompaniment, as they would do in the original exam. There will be an external panelist, who has examined on behalf of music exam boards in the past, to co-examine the higher grade performers and will give objective feedback on various components of the exam.
