"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. These collaborations are mutually enriching and enable our students to create connections beyond the school gates."

Nightingale Swoops to Take House Maths Win!

Our Year 7-10 mathematicians have been busy competing in the annual House Maths challenge which took place over the last two weeks to find the most mathematical House!

Last week, the first round saw Nightingale Year 7s finish with 16 points, ahead of Hepburn (12) and Eliot (11). In Year 8, Hepburn were the winners with 16 points, followed by Nightingale with 12 and Eliot on 3.

The format is a quick fire round (first on the buzzer) followed by a relay round (where girls have to run across the room with their solutions before being handed the next question).

The final two rounds saw Nightingale victorious in the Year 9 competition with 12 points, ahead of Eliot with 10 and Hepburn with 8, and again the winners of the Year 10 round, narrowly taking the win with 17 points from Eliot with 16 points and Hepburn with 15 in a closely fought battle!

A big thank you to the Year 12 Maths Reps who organised the competition, with extra thanks to the Year 13 former Reps who stepped in at the last minute to present the Year 8 round.

Well done to all taking part!
