"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. These collaborations are mutually enriching and enable our students to create connections beyond the school gates."

Return of the Spring Concert

The Spring concert was our first since 2019 after the 2020 concert was cancelled a few days before the performance.

We were delighted to welcome three Year 13s to perform movements from concertos together with the Symphony Orchestra. Lily performed the beautiful slow movement from Mozart’s ‘Concerto No. 21’ and Ruby played Mozart’s ‘Clarinet concerto’ second movement with great confidence. Grace impressed with her fiery performance of the first movement from Kabalevsky’s ‘Violin Concerto’. They Chamber Orchestra also performed Suk’s ‘Serenade’.

After the interval, the student-led a cappella ensemble performed their arrangement of Stay and All Time Low with the resonance of the church adding to their emotive arrangement. Two choirs performed with string orchestra accompaniment. The Senior Choir sang Poulenc’s ‘Litanies a la vierge noir’ and the Chamber Choir, Gjello’s ‘Song of the Universal’, a song that we first learnt back in 2020 and were delighted to be able to perform in a concert.
