School Partnerships Week 2023
To mark the Independent Schools Council’s (ISC) Partnerships Week this week, Mr Fernando, our Assistant Head (Co-Curricular and Partnerships), rounds up our partnership activity
In the bustling weeks since the commencement of the term, NHEHS has been actively engaged in enriching partnership initiatives. Notably, on National Poetry Day, we welcomed 150 students from our local partner schools for an inspiring poetry workshop led by esteemed British Poets Daljit Nagra and Hannah Lowe. The resonance of creative expression echoed through our halls, fostering a vibrant literary spirit.
Undoubtedly, our commitment to collaborative ventures continues with the eagerly anticipated GreenSTEM programme. Eight local state schools have enthusiastically joined this initiative, led by Imperial College PhD candidates Ariane Dellavalle and Ariane Ugo Legendre. Their expertise promises to illuminate the path towards a greener, more sustainable future, marking yet another significant stride in our ongoing collaborative efforts. We look forward to the first session on December 5th.
Looking further ahead, we will be launching our third annual BUDS (Building Understanding, Developing Skills) programme, designed for Year 5 students from local Ealing primary schools who are ready to stretch and extend their learning.
NHEHS takes pride in fostering meaningful partnerships that not only enhance educational experiences but also contribute to the broader community’s wellbeing.
