Sixth Form PRE Lecture – ‘What Makes You, You’

We have been enjoying a wide range of topics as part of our Sixth Form Lecture Series this term. Organised by our Sixth Form Subject Reps, these lectures are open to Year 12 and 13s who can choose to attend either of the two different talks on offer and take place fortnightly.
On Friday 10th March, NHEHS sixth formers were very lucky to receive Dr David Preston, Lecturer in Philosophy in the Department of Politics, International Relations and Philosophy at Royal Holloway. Dr Preston spoke on the topic of ‘What makes you, you.’ It was an engaging and innovative talk, which many students found interesting and captivating.
The PRE reps, Clemmie, Catrin and Zara had many people coming up to them later in the day saying it was one of the best lectures so far.
