We were excited to launch the fourth edition of our annual English and Art Creative Writing Magazine last week. Huge thanks to visiting author Wanda Whiteley for helping us launch the fourth edition of our English and Art Creative Writing magazine ‘Doodles’ last week. We also enjoyed hearing a variety of student readings in the portrait room.

The Doodles team have loved putting together this year’s magazine to showcase the outstanding creative writing, poems and artwork produced across the year groups.
This year we received the highest number of submissions since the launch of the magazine, making it an incredibly difficult selection process. This year’s theme is ‘Emotions’ and every piece of literature and art encapsulates the theme with passion and creativity. The cover was designed by the talented Sophie A (10S) who really brings the theme to life.
The team were very impressed with the high quality of work and we are so pleased to be able to share so many of them with all of you.
We are honoured to give a spotlight to all the skilled writers and artists and we hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed making it!
