"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. These collaborations are mutually enriching and enable our students to create connections beyond the school gates."

Year 2 Awarded Bronze Certificate by National Youth Choir Of Scotland

In Assembly this week we congratulated Year 2 on their achievement of NYCOS Bronze certificates from the National Youth Choir Of Scotland.

The National Young Choir of Scotland offers a musicianship curriculum in three levels, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Based in the Kodaly and Dalcroze method, Year 2s have had the chance to learn about all the hand signs, their names and how to write them on a music stave. And through music games and movement, they worked out complex rhythms and gained understanding of basic time signatures.

Well done, Year 2!
