"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. These collaborations are mutually enriching and enable our students to create connections beyond the school gates."

Year 7s Make Their NHEHS Musical Debuts

Our Year 7 musicians were invited to make their NHEHS debuts at our Year 7 Concert held on September 6th at our Recital Hall. Parents and families enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of music, followed by refreshments.

It was fantastic to see so many students taking part, confidently playing a wide range of pieces, from Ed Sheeran to Sibelius to Bach. A big well done to the following musicians – Arabella C (violin), Kayona M (voice), Caterina C (cello), Mitsuki O (piano), Ana-Sofia P (violin), Erin S (voice), Eliana T (cornet), Ella C (guitar and voice), Emma J (piano), Anya B (flute), Andrea B (piano) and Melissa C (voice), as well as our Year 7 and 8 String Trio of Arabella C, Katerina D and Caterina C.

Congratulations to all our Year 7s – we look forward to enjoying more of your performances from you this year, with the upcoming Tea Time Concert, Lower School Autumn Concert and Mince Pie Concert later this term.
