Throughout the Summer Term, Year 9 music students worked hard on their original songs in curriculum lessons.

After studying about chords, melodies, microphone and editing techniques, the students put on a concert in the atrium of their finished songs. 

There were some really impressive compositions, from Aggy, Katherine and Isabella’s enthusiastic rap song to Iris’s heartfelt guitar and vocal piece. Rosie, Nicola, Daria and Amelia put together an impressive song, complete with viola countermelodies to their emotive vocals and Jenny’s electronically produced and recorded song was very effective. 

Well done to all of the Year 9 music students for some fantastic performances.
