Saturday saw the last session of this year’s BUDS programme. BUDS is aimed at Building Understanding, Developing Skills in Gifted and Talented Year 5 pupils from our local primary schools Christ the Saviour C of E Primary School, St Gregory’s Catholic Primary School, Montpelier Primary School, Selborne Primary School and North Ealing Primary School.  The programme has a focus on Science, English, Maths and Creative Thinking, helping pupils to learn the soft skills required to be able to think creatively, solve problems, and express their own ideas.

We invited their parents to see a snapshot of what the pupils have been doing, from exciting science experiments involving coke bottles and mentos (!) to confidently perform poetry readings, to showcasing  their artwork. Parents and pupils commented on how amazing the programme has been and how their children have enjoyed the various activities. 

Headmaster Mr Shoults presented the students with a BUDS certificate to acknowledge their commitment to the programme and celebrate their development over the seven sessions.
