Support our Whole School Bursary Giving Day

"Virtually every parent would say they want their daughter to develop into a happy and confident young woman. At Notting Hill and Ealing they make it happen."

"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. These collaborations are mutually enriching and enable our students to create connections beyond the school gates."

Charities Update for May 2024

Year 7 – Cancer Research UK

This half term is Year 7’s turn to fundraise for their chosen year group charity, Cancer Research UK. So far, they have held a fantastic bake sale and a dance competition. Next week they will be hosting a karaoke competition next week as well as another bake sale, with a fair as their final planned event.

Volunteering

A group of 16 students and staff visited the children supported by Care 4 Calais last week. The group brought pens, pencils and note books to give out which went down very well with the children there. Tuesday enrichment for Year 10 is continuing and the new Year 10 choirs have started visiting local care homes to perform.

We are excited for our whole school Volunteering Day in June with a large variety of activities lined up including visits to three care homes to lead garden parties, primary schools visiting NHEHS for PE, science and swimming lessons led by students and staff, students visiting primary schools to deliver a play and activities in Spanish and French, helping the Ealing park ranger, Boston Manor Park ranger and helping out at the Honey and Grape farm. We will also be hosting our annual party for the Log cabin children as well as a sponsored walk.

Collections

We will be running collections for Days 4 Girls and Sanitation 4 Sisters shortly after half term – watch out for a School Comms email with more information.

Ealing Half Marathon for the Log Cabin

We are hoping to organise a parent-staff team to run the Ealing Half Marathon in September for the Log Cabin again! More details to follow.
