Economists Enjoy Talk by Sir Winfield Bischoff at Cardinal Wiseman School
On February 6th, the Sixth Form Economists enjoyed a talk from Sir Winfield Bischoff at Cardinal Wiseman School. He gave a talk outlining his illustrious career and sharing insight and advice from his time at some of the world’s top banks, including Chair of Citigroup Europe and JP Morgan Securities PLC.
He then fielded questions, ranging from career guidance to the UK’s current economic climate. Nikita, one of our Year 13’s, asked him what the latest employment and inflation figures mean for the US, to which he pointed out that despite falling a falling inflation rate, strong employment growth means that further interest rate rises are likely.
Thank you to Cardinal Wiseman School for hosting a great event.
