The Tycoon Enterprise competition is going well and both the Year 8 and 12 teams have adapted to COVID restrictions. We thought we’d share how some of our fledgling businesses are doing and encourage you to check out their social accounts and websites.
The Year 8 teams who are currently in profit are …
- Paws for the Planet: £423.09 profit, 564% return on investment
- JLK: £130.00 profit, 260% return on investment
- Eco Accessories: £95.80 profit, 479% return on investment
Paws for the Planet team members Jasmine, Emma T, Abigail, Morven, Alice, Zoe D and Amelie are selling a range of eco-friendly dog accessories and homemade dog treats! Give them a follow on Instagram.
The Year 8 team Eco Accessories are selling handmade masks and scrunchies made from recycled fabrics. The team comprising Rahel, Aanya, Dunya, Matilda, Yuna, Samara, Ishita are also on Instagram and have their own website too.

- Off The Record: £194.50 profit, 243% return on investment
- Dizi Products: £187.77 profit, 226% return on investment
- Scrapbuds: £179.00, 426% return on investment
Off The Record are, as their name suggests, making products related to records, incuding asthetic record disc bowls. See their Instagram here.
Dizi Products from Year 12 specialise in a range of beautiful jewellery. Follow Sophie, Ellie, Mia and Paloma’s ventures on Instagram and their website.
