"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. These collaborations are mutually enriching and enable our students to create connections beyond the school gates."

Good Luck to our Wonderful Year 13!

May 9th saw the final day at school for our Year 13s before the start of their A Level study leave.

In the week leading up to it, they had already enjoyed a Class of 2024 Drinks Reception with staff and parents. They also managed to fit in a week of themed dress up days, including ‘pink’, ‘boys’, ‘first letter of your name’, ‘what do you want to be when you’re older’ and ‘white lie Wednesday!’

On their last day at school, Mr Shoults’ assembly was taken over by a horde of yellow minions! Maintaining the best NHEHS traditions, there was also the iconic conga at morning break, which started in the atrium leading into the school and staff room, not to mention the very popular bouncy castle in the courtyard, games of tag, water pistol battles and ice lollies.

In the afternoon, there was a wonderful Leavers’ Tea in the Recital Hall where we shared memories and heard performances of songs and poems from both staff and students.

Our outgoing Head Girl Team of Lewhat, Flo, Lydia, Gen, Abbi and Anna also presented Mr Shoults with a ’24 Leavers’ hoodie which he was delighted to receive!

Huge good luck, Year 13 – we will miss you!
