"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. These collaborations are mutually enriching and enable our students to create connections beyond the school gates."

New for 2022 – Hillfest – A Celebration of our Community

We’re delighted to invite our NHEHS families to Hillfest – the first whole school Community Event Day on Friday 1st July. We know it has been a long time since we have been able to open our doors to the whole school community, so we felt the end of the summer term would be a great opportunity to invite everyone back in to reconnect and celebrate with a rolling programme of wonderful performances and exhibitions in music, drama, dance and art presented by our students.

It will also be a chance to say goodbye to the current Junior School building, as the development project to create an exciting new school starts at the beginning of the summer holidays.

The Junior School will kick things off from 2.00pm when parents are invited to see music, dance or drama performances from every year group and visit the classrooms to see work from this year.

The Senior School programme will begin at 4.00pm and take place across the main hall, dance studio and the courtyard until 7.00pm.    In addition, parents are welcome to view the school’s Art Exhibition as well as a photography exhibition by our Artist in Residence Michael Clement which will both be located in the atrium.

We will be offering complimentary drinks to welcome in the summer holidays and the Parents’ Guild will be kindly running the traditional NHEHS BBQ and bar which can be enjoyed in the astroturf’s ‘picnic zone’.

We look forward to seeing you there!
