Our NHEHS Year 5 and 6 Cross Country team travelled to Bromley High School on Thursday 7th March to compete in the annual GDST Cross Country Competition.

Eighteen other GDST schools travelled from all over England to participate in this competition. The course was a challenging 2km through a sometimes very muddy track! Weather conditions were difficult with bright sunshine but a very strong wind making parts of the course challenging running in to a blustery head wind.

All our girls worked extremely hard to complete the course in excellent times.

Congratulations to Isabella, Daisy, Vita, Sofia and Emma who all ran brilliantly. A special mention to Natasha 5th, Morven 20th and Minna 27th out of over one hundred and twenty five runners – this was a tremendous result!

Our Year 5 and 6 NHEHS Team were ranked 5th overall which is the best result ever achieved by a NHEHS Junior School Cross Country Team!
