On Tuesday afternoon we held a live still life drawing workshop with Miss Plowden.

This was the first of our series of three live sessions for all staff, parents, siblings as well as girls) in our wonderful school community, offering an hour to explore a creative interest. It was lovely to see so many parents and staff joining forces with their daughters, siblings and other family members to tackle Miss Plowden’s task of drawing a spoon in a glass of water from direct observation.  It was amazing to see such variety – all produced in the hour long session. We especially loved hearing that some parents hadn’t sat down to draw since their time at school!

Those who signed up for the second session will be enjoying cooking with Michelin starred chef Andy Needham next Tuesday.
