Psychology Department Hosts Virtual Lecture from Dr Elizabeth Weir
On February 7th the Psychology department welcomed Dr Elizabeth Weir from the University of Cambridge’s Autism Research Centre to speak about her work investigating differences in presentation and diagnosis of Autism in women and girls.
The talk was well attended by Psychology students in Years 12 and 13, and prospective students in Year 11, and even a few curious members of staff. It is fantastic to create opportunities for students to hear from individuals who are working on cutting-edge and innovative research that challenges what we have known about Autism historically.
