The Ealing Mini Mile took place this year on Saturday 28th September, the day before the Ealing Half Marathon.

There were races for different age categories, starting with the Family Mile (for children aged five or under to run alongside an adult), followed by separate races for ages 6-7, 8, 9, 10-11 and 12-16).

All children in the Mini Mile and the Family Mile received a t-shirt, medal, chip timing and water on finishing. This year over 40 NHEHS Juniors took part in the afternoon’s races!

Age 10-11 – Minna, Claudia, Sophie, Eleanor, Kara, Lucy, Maya, Eve, Narnia, Maya, Meher, Molly, Caitlin

Special mentions to top 5 girls’ finishers from NHEHS Juniors & Seniors:

Family Mile (Age 5 and under) – Isabella, Maya, Anna (1st, 2nd & 4th out of 85 girls)

Age 6-7 – Violet (2nd out of 160 girls)

Under 8 – Sofia, Anishka (2nd & 5th out of 92 girls)

Age 10-11 – Minna (2nd out of 151 girls)    Age 12-16 – Natasha (2nd out of 64 girls)

We had continued the running theme during the previous week when all our Junior girls ran for 13 minutes in their PE lessons as part of our Ealing Half Marathon fundraising efforts for The Log Cabin ! The girls also contributed to our Log Cabin fundraising by donating money for our Active Wear Day.
