Soloists and Vox Singers’ Concert
By Miss Goodsell, Director of Music
On Monday June 17th students of Rachel Munro, Christine Cunnold and Eli Rolfe Johnson came together to perform in the, now annual, Singers Concert.
Ending each half of the programme was Vox, the selective pop choir who brought the house down with their renditions of Fever and Burn. There were some really confident performances; Maddy York Hale wowed with her version of ‘Live out loud’ from A Little Princess and Josephine Wright showed the variety in her voice by singing ‘Vedrai Carino’ from Don Giovanni. Anahita Azarbod performed ‘Fly me to the moon’ with confidence and style and Arabella Borthwick gave an emotional performance of ‘Amnesia.’
A huge well done to all those who took part and thank you to Rachel Munro for organising the event.
