Last Thursday we held our Tea Time concert – these are termly events which give students who have upcoming ABRSM exams to test out their repertoire prior to their exams.

There were some fantastic performances with Sophia giving a confident rendition of ‘Allegro’ by Veracini and Kyra playing ‘Danza de Luzma’ by Ortiz with gravitas. Imen started the violin in September of this year and is taking her grade 3 in two weeks time. She played ‘Adagio’ from Student Concerto No. 2 by Seitz with real musicality. Lara is a diploma level flautist and performed two pieces in the concert, but also performed on the violin, an instrument she has also only begun recently.
