"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. These collaborations are mutually enriching and enable our students to create connections beyond the school gates."

Summer Term Sports Back into Full Swing… Covid-Style!

By Miss Newman, Sports Coach

We are fortunate enough to offer a full extra-curricular timetable for our girls, starting with hurdles, sprints and middle distance running on a Monday morning 7:45am, and ending off the week with softball cricket for all years and Year 7&8 swimming after school until 5:15pm.

Some of our lessons and clubs are taking place at offsite specialist facilities, with tennis lessons being held at Will to Win in Pitshanger Park; rounders taking place at Ealing Trailfinders; athletics taking place at Perivale Athletics Track; cricket taking place at Ealing Cricket Club.

Covid guidance has given us the green light for fixtures, with our tennis teams competing in the LTA Middlesex league, rounders and cricket fixtures booked for June, and we even have some athletics fixtures to look forward to. We will also be making sure to get in as many friendly fixtures against local Ealing schools, allowing as many girls as possible to have a summer fixture.

Last, but certainly not least Sports Day is scheduled for the 30th of June, so make sure to get ready for a day filled of sunshine, running, throwing, and cheering (all Covid-friendly of course!).

Keep an eye out for the fixtures on our Sport website here!
