Volunteering Day – Supporting Park Rangers at 12 Parks and Green Spaces Across West London
On June 12th hundreds of our environmentally conscious senior and junior school pupils headed off to a dozen different parks, woods and green spaces in West London to pick up litter, weed, plant and support the efforts of local organisations as part of our Volunteering Day.
Our groups helped out at spaces as diverse as Hounslow Heath, Boston Manor Park, Barnes Common, Perivale Woods, the Honey and Grape Farm, and closer to home at Gurnell Grove, Walpole Park as well as onsite here at NHEHS.
Our Year 5 and 6 girls also got involved locally at Scotch Common and Pitshanger, Montpelier and Drayton Green parks where they picked litter and weeded.
