Weekly Sports Update September 23rd 2022

It’s been another busy and successful week of netball for our teams, with team of the week being the U12 A Netball Team for bouncing back! After a tough loss at the weekend to Highgate, they bounced back and beat Thomas’s Clapham convincingly in the School Magazine Cup to progress to the next round!

Netball

Our U14A got term off to a fantastic start by winning the Ibstock Netball Tournament! In the Pool matches they won 7-5 vs Surbiton High, 7-4 vs Ibstock Place, 9-5 vs Tiffin Girls, 15-0 vs Kew House, 13-4 vs Grey Court. In the semi-finals, the team defeated Highgate 13-6 before keeping their unbeaten run going with a 9-7 against Godolphin & Latymer in the final! MVP Esme M.

The School Magazine Cup was a big focus for us this week, with our U15A team taking a 31-23 win away at Lady Eleanor Holles, then our U13A and U12A both taking the wins at Thomas’s, Clapham, respectively 23-19 and 26-8. Meanwhile our U18A achieved a fantastic 32-20 win home to South Hampstead High School GDST (MVP Gen P). In an internal friendly, our U12C team played & won 4-2 vs our U11A (MVP Beatrix O) and our U12D team 7-6 vs our U12B team (MVP Sophia L).

Hockey

Our U15A team drew 1-1 away to St Augustine’s Priory on September 22nd thanks to a goal by Zoe J. MVP was Zoe D.
