Year 7 Make a Big Splash at HOAC!
Following their Orienteering Exercise (Treasure Hunt!) to help them find their way around NHEHS on their first day at school, Year 7 followed in the NHEHS tradition with a fun day out at the Hillingdon Outdoor Activities Centre (HOAC).
The girls took part in team building challenges, working in small groups of 8-10 students.
They were split across the form groups to help them all to make friends with other girls across their year group. The raft challenge and race was the most popular and as we had lovely weather, lots of girls threw themselves into the lake at the end of the race!
The HOAC staff were fantastic at helping the girls work together and following COVID guidelines but it was particularly brilliant to see them all working together under the current circumstances.
