"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. These collaborations are mutually enriching and enable our students to create connections beyond the school gates."

A Wonderful End-of-Year Summer Concert

By Miss Goodsell, Director of Music

On June 24th the Symphony Orchestra opened the warm Summer concert with the Magnificent 7, setting the tone for the evening.

We were delighted to welcome a number of Year 6 students to perform, both with the Lower School Chamber Choir and Symphony Orchestra and they made their senior debuts with great aplomb.

The chamber choir sang Ave Verum by Mozart and the piano trio performed an arrangement of Pennies from Heaven. The Session Orchestra impressed with their rendition of ‘What was I made for’ by Billie Eilish and Percussion Ensemble brought the house down with their off book performance of Clocks by Coldplay on Marimba.

The finale of the concert was ‘Happy Together’ with the Symphony Orchestra and Choirs performing together, with Year 12 student, Charlie conducting the choir.

Well done to all those who performed!
