"We believe that being part of a community matters, it involves reaching out to volunteer, raising funds for causes we care about, and sharing our spaces to build meaningful relationships. These collaborations are mutually enriching and enable our students to create connections beyond the school gates."

First Artist in Residence at NHEHS – Exhibition

The Art department is extremely excited to be hosting Michael Clement as our first Artist in residence at NHEHS. Michael will be spending two weeks in the art department this term, planning and preparing a number of workshops for students to take part in, culminating in an exhibition of both his artwork and the artwork of the students.

We will be holding an exhibition on Thursday 10th February between 5pm-7pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to view Michael Clements incredible photography, with the potential to purchase his artwork and to celebrate the artwork produced by the girls within his residency programme, and enjoy a beverage in the process.

Displayed throughout the school building, the Art exhibition is a lovely occasion for us to come together once again to celebrate the success of our young artists, and to view artwork in its entirety.

For the link to book tickets, please see the Schoolcomms sent out on 25th January.

UPDATE:

We have taken the decision to postpone the Michael Clement Private View scheduled on the 10th of February.
The Artist in Residence Program will continue, and we look forward to sharing Michael’s work with you – alongside his students – after the half-term break.
